| Description | Beautiful, distinctive, artistic photography enhanced by compassionate poetry and blessings to invoke love, forgiveness and healing. |
Media Reviews:
“At a time where the world is hungry for love and a balm to soothe the pain is searched for and created by an abandonment of soul, you will find words to express your desire for strength and hope and the feeding of impoverished souls at the exhibition Love, Blessings and Healing.” The Nationalist Newspaper, Co. Tipperary - July 2008. (Before Caitriona became a correspondent for them)
“Caitriona’s poetry is outstanding! I was blown away by the combination of thought-provoking words combined with her imagery and her writing could be likened to John O’Donohue (Anam Cara/Benedictus), with a synthesis of poetry, photography and spirituality.” Fran Curry, Programme Controller, Tipp FM
The creation of ‘Love, Blessings & Healing’
‘Love, Blessings & Healing’ is a collection of work that Caitriona created after facilitating a Personal Development training using the ‘Self Actualization Learning Technique in May/ June 2008, with 36 Clinical Nurse Managers at the Regional Hospital in Limerick for the National Nursing Council. The impact of the training was huge and the nurses made Caitriona aware that the different perspectives she showed them would enhance the lives of many people and therefore needed to be shared on a wider scale. Hence, the ‘Love, Blessings & Healing’ Exhibition was created.
Love, Blessings & Healing’; a photographic exhibition enhanced by her own compassionate poetry and blessings to invoke love and forgiveness opened at the Granary in Cahir, Co. Tipperary in July 2008 and was featured on RTE’s TV Programme, Nationwide. Many pieces were sold at that exhibition and it went on to receive excellent press reviews and media/radio attention. Two hundreds pieces were sold to the Kilkenny Design Group and sold throughout their shops Nationwide.

In August 2007, by request of the Cashel Heritage & Development Trust for National Heritage week, Caitriona delivered her exhibition of Cashel. The Trust wanted her take on Cashel, something different with a new perspective and she delivered with exceptional photographs showing the Rock in gentle sepia tones from fresh viewpoints inside and out, as well as creating beautiful photos of Hore Abbey, Main street and other land marks around the town.
The theme of Heritage Week was – ‘Look Forward. Look Back. Look Around’ – and Caitriona used the ‘Looking Back’ theme to convert some of her shots into and old sepia look so that you can get a glimpse of what our favourite monuments may have looked like in times gone by.
“Caitriona’s photography emulates spirituality and makes us aware of the beauty and natural wonder that is all around us.”
Lord Robert Eames, former Archbishop of Armagh
